Staff Puzzler

The staff puzzler is a quick and effective learning tool or reminder for all levels, it's great quality and I've already found multiple ways to use it for note and interval reinforcement. The order came with some cute extra free stuff as well. I love ordering from Dynamic Doodle!

Great tactile tool

This has been on my wish list for awhile and I am really happy with it! I am looking forward to using it with students when we return from our holiday break. I plan to use it both during lessons and during music lab time. I know I will enjoy having something that includes both a visual and tactile component.

I absolutely love this staff puzzler because it allows students to tangibly discover the lines and spaces on the staff. It is really helped them to remember the names of the notes when they build the staff at their lesson. I particularly love the movable cleft because it has provided a teaching moment to explain Why bass clef is called F clef and trouble. Clef is called G clef. It’s fun to move that around and make them rebuild the puzzle for some reinforcement.

These wooden boards are of excellent quality and loved by students! What an engaging way to have students explore the staff and gain fluency in their note names.

I've been eyeing the staff puzzlers for a while and wish I bought it sooner! The quality is amazing and it such a fun way to change up reading music!

My students and I love this staff puzzler! It not only looks good in my piano studio, but it makes my younger students, especially excited about learning the notes on the music staff. It’s also small enough that you can put it in your travel bag for house call lessons. Definitely recommend 😍

The staff puzzle is great quality. My 6 year old daughter loves it! She is using it to practice note names for piano lessons. I’ll definitely be purchasing more puzzle products.

This is a way to motivate my students to memorize the note names on the staff.

My students are enjoying it! I wish the treble staff could include middle c and d, and the bass staff could have b and middle c. I mostly use this with beginners so including bcd would be great for orientation.

I like this as a supplement for other music reading memorization tools. Well made, a bit smaller than I thought which is a good thing in terms of storage. I would highly recommend this.

My kids and I love using to assist with their piano and violin instructions. It also keeps them out of trouble in the car, so a bonus on practicality! Definitely referring Dynamic Doodle to our music teachers and friends with kids! Great store and will order again. :)

This product adds a fun way to practice with my one on one students and adds a nice variety to practicing knowing the notes of the staff in treble, bass, and alto clef.

The Staff Puzzler is Amazing! I used it as kids were lining up to leave. Students drew a tile and put them in the correct spot. Such a way to review.

Fantastic learning tool for young students!!

I can always count on quality from Dynamic Doodle. My young piano students were thrilled to work on the staff with the puzzler…just made it for fun for them.

I really am amazed by how clever and fun this puzzle is! It is so great! My only complaint is the interchangeable treble and bass staffs don’t line up with the staff (treble clef doesn’t wrap around G, Bass clef F doesn’t line up). That seems to confuse my students, so I have to explain it’s just letting you know what staff you are filling in, but not the actual way it lines up on the staff. Other than that it’s perfect!

This has been an excellent addition to my studio's off-the-keys teaching tools. All the students have enjoyed it!

This is a fun teaching tool. I have been using it with my students and they enjoy it. My one suggestion would be that the clefs were bigger and lined up correctly with the lines. Many of my students were confused trying finding the notes since the clefs don’t line up properly. For example the bass clefs two dots should be on either side of the second line down to help find F but instead they are close to the third line.

Great little tool for teaching beginners! If you're creative you can use it in a number of ways. Pieces go in and come out seamlessly, very well made.
